What is a Level 5 Finish?
A Level 5 finish is the highest level of drywall finishing available. It goes beyond standard taping and mudding by applying a thin skim coat across the entire surface of the drywall. This creates a perfectly smooth, uniform wall or ceiling that eliminates visible seams, flashing, and imperfections.
While standard drywall finishes work well for many spaces, Level 5 finishing is recommended when walls will be exposed to natural light, large windows, smooth paint finishes, or modern interior design where imperfections are easier to notice.
